Robert Jay “Ick” Scarberry 84 of Louisa, KY passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013 following a brief illness.
Robert was born December 16, 1928 at Charley, KY, the son of the late Jay and Opal Hinkle Scarberry. He was a retired school bus driver for the Lawrence County Board of Education, a United States Army Veteran, Mason, and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a brother James Edward Scarberry of Louisa, a sister Doris Moore of Galloway, Ohio, brother-in-law Fred Hayes of Stoutsville, Ohio, two sister-in-laws Delores Scarberry and Ireda Scarberry, 9 Nieces and Nephews, and several Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday October 13th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hinkle-Scarberry Cemetery at Charley, KY.
Friends may visit from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday October 12th at the Wilson Funeral Home.
