Patricia Joan “Pat” Lee 72 of Louisa, KY passed away Monday October 14, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness. Pat was born September 17, 1941 at Ashland, KY, the daughter of the late Babe and Opal Gollihue Lee. She is a 1958 graduate of Thomas R. Brown High School at Catlettsburg, Ky, graduate of Franklin School of Medical Technology Philadelphia, PA. After her graduation she was the Lab Supervisor for the Louisa Medical Clinic retiring with 42 years of service. Pat was very active in her community through the Louisa Junior Woman’s Club, Louisa Younger Woman’s Club and Kentucky Federation of Women’s Clubs. She spent over Forty-three years of service in the various organizations having worked on many committees and progressed to President of each. The highlight of service was serving as President of Kentucky Federation of Women’s Clubs, 1978-80 and representing Kentucky on the General Federation of Women’s Club’s Board of Directors. She was truly dedicated in all her many years of service which included the Lawrence County Democratic Woman’s Club and the Lawrence County Democratic Party. Survivors include a special friend Janice Hall of Louisa, KY, two sisters Barbara Robinson and Sue Maynard both of Louisa; two brothers Larry Lee of Colorado Springs, CO and Tommy Lee of Ashland, KY. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday October 17th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park Ashland, KY. Friends may visit from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
