Troy Bryant 86 of Charley, KY went to be with the Lord on Monday December 2, 2013 following a brief illness. Troy was born March 5, 1927 at Charley, KY, the son of the late George and Ollie Hayes Bryant. He was a retired sawmill worker and the oldest member of the Charley Free Will Baptist for 65 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Flossie (Lyons) Bryant, a daughter Juanita Cordle, a grandson Steve Bryant, and a great great grandson James Bryan Smith. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Roger Smith of Blaine, KY; a son and daughter-in-law Troy Jr. and Deborah Bryant of Charley, KY; a son-in-law Johnny Cordle of Charley, KY, a sister Avenell Tarring of Louisa, KY; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday Dec. 5th at 11:00 am at the Charley Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Gene Hayes and Rev. Todd Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Judd Cemetery at Norris, KY. Friends may call after 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Charley Free Will Baptist Church. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
