Wanda Lee Wheeler 87 of Blaine, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 10, 2014 at the Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness. Wanda was born Feb. 7, 1926 at Blaine, KY the daughter of the late Chester C. and Clora Craft Wheeler. She was a homemaker and member of the Hoods Fork United Baptist Church for 51 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Leonard and Arthur Wheeler and a foster brother Morton Wheeler. Survivors include two sisters Pearleen Wheeler and Lorene Wheeler both of Blaine, three brothers Elva Wheeler of Blaine, Virgil Paul Wheeler and Freeman J. Wheeler both of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday January 12th at 11:00 am at the Old Hood United Baptist Church with Elder Gene May, Elder Claude Mollette, and Elder Johnny Mollette officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, KY. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
