Douglas Carl McDaniel 79 of Ulysses, KY formerly from the Masonic Home in Louisville, KY passed away Monday Jan. 13, 2014 at his home.
Doug was born June 6, 1934 at Burning Springs, KY, the son of the late George and Hattie Mae Roach McDaniel. He was a retired truck driver, member of the Harry R. Kendall Masonic Lodge 750, and served in the United State Marine Corp.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Stacy McDaniel and a step son Jerry Music.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Athington McDaniel of Ulysses, KY; three step sons David Music of West Jefferson, OH, Michael Music of Fallsburg, KY, and Danny Music of Louisa, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday Jan. 16th at 10:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Medlock Cemetery at Annville, KY. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday Jan. 15th at the Wilson Funeral Home.
