Harmon M. Griffith 83 of Blaine, KY passed away Wednesday March 19, 2014 at his home. Harm was born April 29, 1930 at Cordell, KY, the son of the late Charles James and Nannie Mae Cordle Griffith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Forest Allen Griffith, daughter Dixie Mae Stambaugh, and granddaughter Jessica Nicole Stambaugh. He was a retired farmer and timberman. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years Jessie Barker Griffith, daughter Mollie Hackney of Sitka, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law Charles E. and Kay Griffith of Blaine, KY, Randall Lee and Cindy Griffith of Grayson, KY, and William Dexter and Nancy Griffith of Webbville, KY; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday March 21st at 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Ross and Bro. Ralph Cordle officiating. Burial will follow in the Griffith Cemetery at Blaine, KY. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.
