John Franklin Daugherty, age 49, of Fort Gay ,WV, died Saturday, April 12, 2014. Mr. Daugherty was born March 1, 1965 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the Wilburn and Rose Bates Meredith.
He was a Disabled Auto Mechanic.
He is survived by one daughter: Chasity Daugherty Johnson and husband Jacob of Ocean Side, CA; A brother Joe Daugherty of Grayson, KY; he also has two grandchildren ; Jeremiah Cash and Carrington Jynx; Also surviving is Johns Significant Other, Lisa Hager.
John is preceded in death by his brother Wilburn "Button" Meredith Jr..
The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Salt Petre Baptist Church, , Fort Gay with Rev. Richard Maynard and Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens Louisa.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 15 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home Louisa, KY.
