Nellie Mae Blythe Carter, age 91, of Blaine, died Monday, May 5, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center of Louisa, KY. Nellie was born September 12, 1922 in Cains Creek, KY. She is the daughter of the late Edd and the late Cora (Ross) Blythe and the wife of the late Talmadge Carter. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a daughter Joann Carter and a sister Rowena Jordan. She was as a Homemaker. She is survived by two sons. Charles (Ollie) Carter of Adams Ky and Willard (Patty) Carter of Blaine ,Ky and one daughter Marjorie Sue (Robert) Gussler of Blaine, Ky. Also surviving are four Granddaughters; Mary Jane, Tammy, Sabrina and Stacey. One Great Granddaughter Shelbi, one sister Betty Jordan of Blaine Ky and One brother Homer Jay Blythe also of Blaine. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Emmitt Barker officiating . Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens . Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 7 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
