Arnold Lee Marcum 81 of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 18, 2014 following a brief illness. Arnold was born May 10, 1933 at Clifford, KY the son of the late Jim and Minnie Whitt Marcum. In addition to his parents Arnold was preceded in death by his son Kennith Lee Marcum, a sister Betty Pope, and two brothers Thomas and Julius Marcum. Arnold was a disabled C & O Railroad equipment operator and of the Baptist Faith, he loved playing gospel music traveling around the area to the numerous local churches. Survivors include two sons William A. Marcum and wife Nina of Chapmansville, WV and Gregory Marcum of Clifford, KY; two granddaughters Amy (Steve) Johnson and Lea Anna (Paul) Preece, great grandchildren Jasmine, Caleb, Parker, and Emilea, three brothers Roy "Tic" Marcum and wife Sally, Frank Marcum and wife Hazel and James Birch Marcum and wife Sharon, three Sisters Melvalee Endicott, Flornie Preston and husband Randal, and Ruth Marcum. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday May 20th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, KY. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
