Darrell Patrick 75 of Genoa WV passed away Thursday May 22, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Darrell was born Jan. 28, 1939 at Busseyville, KY the son of the late William G. and Della Akers Patrick. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Bob, Her, Dan, Marion, and Isom and a sister Gladys Cunningham. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Survivors include sons James Patrick of Aurora, IN and Billy Stone of Genoa, WV; step daughter Kathy Newsome; step sons Terry Quillen, Jerry Quillen, and Derek Quillen;brother Bill Patrick of Louisa, KY and Sister Bernice Patrick of Milton, WV. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday May 27th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Music officiating. Burial will follow in the McDaniel Cemetery at Louisa, KY. Military graveside honors will be conducted by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday May 26th at the Wilson Funeral Home.
