Joyce Williamson Chaffins 65 of Louisa passed away Friday March 2, 2012 following a tragic storm. Joyce was born May 29, 1946 in Crum, WV the daughter of the late Gideon and Nettie Waller Williamson. She was a school crossing guard for the Pontiac Michigan School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Samantha Danielle Wood and a sister Janet Pack. Survivors include her husband Glen Chaffins, a daughter Karen Wood, adopted daughter Lori Hill, two grandsons Tyler and Austin Wood, adopted grandchildren Jonathan, Eric, Mathew, Zackery, and Taylor Hill; brothers Birdie Williamson, Wayne Williamson, Clifford Williamson, and Herman Williamson; a sister Reba Marsh. Joint Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday March 8th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Roger Ross. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Webb, WV. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Wednesday March 7th at the Wilson Funeral Home.
