Obituary of Nellie Frances Wellman

Nellie Frances Simpson Wellman, age 69, of Ashland Ky went to be with her Lord on June 10, 2014 at Woodland Oaks Healthcare Facility of Ashland, KY. Mrs. Wellman was born October 15, 1944 in Louisa, KY. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Jo (Welch) Simpson. She was a former Beautician and Sales Clerk. In Addition to her parents Mrs. Wellman is preceded in death by her niece Kim Salyers Prince. She is survived by her loving husband Leonard Wellman and one son Brian Anthony Wellman of Clarksville, TN Mrs Wellman also leaves behind two sisters Mary Jo Simpkins and husband Randy of Louisa, Tammy Simpson Adkins and husband L.T. of Lavalette, WV and one brother: James Allen Simpson and wife Shelly of Louisville Ky. Nellie has three nephews, Chris Salyers, Chad Simpson and Brent Simpson. Also surviving is her great nephew Alex Prince. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home, with Rev. Pete Miller and Rev. Doug Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery.
