James Roger Smith, age 66, of Blaine Ky, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Cabell - Huntington Hospital of Huntington, WV. Mr. Smith was born November 30, 1947 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late James Cline and the late Gladys Marie (O'Brian) Smith. He served in the United States Army and was a former School Bus Driver. He is survived by his wife: Joyce (Bryant) Smith and three sons: James Rodney Smith of Blaine, KY, Danny Ray Smith and wife Dana of Stambaugh, Ky and Kevin Lee Smith of Blaine, KY. Survivors also include One brother George "Tony" Smith, two sisters: Kay Ratliff and Lyndella Bevins; Roger also leaves behind 8 loving Grandchildren Roger is Preceded in death by one grandson, one brother and one sister. The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Cordell Free Will Baptist Church Blaine, KY with Rev. Rick Cordial and Rev. Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Friday, June 20 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cordell Free Will Baptist Church.
