William Forest DeLong, age 86, of Louisa, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home. Mr. DeLong was born February 3, 1928 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late Joseph Allen and the late Shirley (Preece) DeLong. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son John Michael DeLong. He was a Farmer. Forest is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years: Lillie (Brown) DeLong. Survivors also include one daughter Cynthia Ann DeLong and two sons; Forest Allen DeLong and wife Tina of Ashland Ky and David Wayne DeLong and wife Sherrie of Liberty Ky. Mr. Delong also leaves behind six Grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, one brother Joe Jack DeLong and one sister Roberta Prince. Mr Delong also leaves behind a special nephew, Raymond DeLong and wife Trish and also a friend Mary Carter. The family also wants to mention Mr. DeLongs brothers in Law Jimmy and Dale Brown and his sister in Law Hettie DeLong. Visitation will be after 6:00 pm on Thursday August 28, 2014 at the Fallsburg Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be on Friday August 29, 2014 at the Fallsburg Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Caudill, Rev. Everett Swafford and Rev. Jerry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the DeLong Family Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home. www.wilsonfuneralhomeky.com
