Paul D. Case ("Poppy"), 75 of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 2, 2014. Paul was born Jan. 15, 1939 at Brushy, KY, the son of the late Emmett and Eula Lowe Case. Before retiring, he worked with his brothers in the family coal mining business. He was a member of the Sidney Missionary Baptist Church. Paul was also a member of the Stone Lodge F& AM 890 and the El Hasa Shrine for over 50 years. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, mowing grass and spending time with loved ones. Survivors include his loving wife Jamie Hatmaker Case, a daughter and son-in –law Debbie and Bob Swisher of Lexington, KY ; a son and daughter-in-law Todd and Pauletta Case of Louisa, KY; a sister Hilda Gooslin of New Carlisle, Ohio; three grandchildren Lindsey, Will, and Ann Marie. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday Oct. 6th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Reed officiating. Entombment will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, KY. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday Oct. 4th and also from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
