Lawrence Lee Perkins 84 of Louisa, KY passed away Thursday October 9, 2014 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY following a brief illness.
Lawrence was born June 16, 1930 at Needmore, KY the son of the late Lee and Alafair Daniels Perkins. He was a retired bus driver for the Lawrence County Schools.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Phyllis (Dean) Perkins, three sons Henry (Debbie) Perkins and Bobby (Judy) Perkins all of Columbus, OH and Rodney (Lisa) Perkins of Louisa, KY; four grandchildren Travis, Jared, Lori, and Paige; five sisters Pearl Chaffins, Dorothy Kelly, and Jeanette Young all of Webbville, KY, Sidney Perkins of Grayson, KY, and Ina Faye Boggs of Flatwoods, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday Oct. 12th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick May, Rev. Doug Kelly, and Rev. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, KY. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
