Obituary of James Vanton Davis

James Vanton Davis 71 of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday October 12, 2014 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
Vanton was born Sept. 15, 1943 in Louisa, KY the son of the late James E. and Blanche Wellman Davis. He was a retired truck driver for the Davis Lumber Company.
Survivors include his loving wife Faye Davis, two daughters Tonda (David) Hatfield of Barboursville, WV and Angie Davis of Louisa, KY, two brothers Paul Davis of Louisa, and Phillip Davis of Louisville, KY; a sister Mary Ekers of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren Shonda Maynard, Burshay Williams, and Charlie Allen; a great grandson Camdam Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday October 15th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery at Louisa, KY.
Friends may call from Noon Wednesday until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
