Phil Wilburn 68 of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday October 19, 2014 at his home following a long illness.
Phil was born May 17, 1946 on Toler Creek in Floyd County KY, the son of the late Golden and Flara Hamilton Wilburn. He was former Chatfield Plumbing sales clerk and a United States Army Viet Nam Veteran. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Jewell Lykins.
Survivors include his loving wife Loretta Thompson Wilburn, two sons Steven Wilburn of Louisa, KY and Jeffrey Wilburn of Portland, Oregon; a daughter Michele Wilburn of Lexington, KY and a step son Jermey Thompson also of Louisa; a sister Jean Keathley of Harold, KY; eight grandchildren Cory Patterson, Peyton Wilburn, Emalie Wilburn, Lakyn Wilburn, Destiny Thompson, Caden Thompson, Braden Thompson, and Shaylee Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday October 22nd at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick May officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetey. Friends may call after 3:00 pm Tuesday Oct. 21st at the Wilson Funeral Home.
