Noah Chaffin 80 of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 15, 2014 following a brief illness. Noah was born Jan. 28, 1934 in Louisa, the son of the late Stanley and Nancy Jane Sparks Chaffin. He was a retired carpenter for the Henry Boat Mfg. Co. and a member of the Bradley Gap FWB Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Stanley Chaffin. Survivors include his loving wife Mary Spillman Chaffin; a daughter Mary Ann and husband Jack Gilley of Nort Lewisburg, OH, two sons Noah and wife Cheryl Chaffin also of North Lewisburg, Oh and Lacey and wife Brenda Chaffin of Louisa; 7 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren; 5 sisters Virginia Wilks, Lena Nelson, Lois Chaffin, Reba Jobe, and Linda Moore; and 4 brothers Frank, William, Owen, and Paul Chaffin. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday Nov. 18th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Kiser Cemetery at Fallsburg, KY. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday Nov. 17th at the Wilson Funeral Home.
