Irene "Tootsie" Marcum 82 of Fort Gay, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 22, 2014.
Tootsie was born Sept. 29, 1932 at Webb, WV the daughter of the late Dennie and Luda Jane Chaffin Copley. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Roger Lee Marcum and two grandsons Jimmy Hughes and Joseph Riley Raines. She was a homemaker and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband Earsel Marcum; three daughters Elaine Brumfield and husband Joe, and Shirley Bradley all of Fort Gay, Rena Carter and husband Donald of Louisa, KY; nine grandchildren Crissa Raines, Carla Copley, Joey Brumfield, Johnny Hughes, Sonya Varney, Chasity Muncy, Brandon Marcum, Ashley Caudill, and Julie Carter; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday Nov. 24th at 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Sunday at the Wilson Funeral Home
