Joseph Cantrell, age 69, of Blaine, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center of Louisa, KY. Joseph was born October 29, 1945 in Blaine, KY. He is the son of the late Proctor and the late Tobitha (Ramey) Cantrell. He was a retired farmer and a former employee of the Louisa Carpet Mills. He was also a member of the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Judy (Cordle) Cantrell , three daughters: Kay Curtis and husband Matt of Martha, KY, Sheila Branham and husband Frank of Paintsville, Lisa Harper and Husband Stoney of Blaine, KY and two sons: Dale Cantrell of Louisa, KY and Gary Cantrell and wife Sabrina of Adams, KY; Mr. Cantrell also leaves behind five sisters Nancy Cordle, Betty Stone, Laura Perry, Francis Nunn and Carolyn Thompson; he also has twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren,and five step great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Brushy Fork United Baptist Church with Elder Frank Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wheeler-Cantrell Cemetery, in Blaine on Saturday, December 27. Calling hours will be Friday, December 26 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home Louisa.
