Edna Mae Vanhorn, age 67, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Vanhorn was born April 29, 1947 in Meade County KY. She is the daughter of the late Herbert Franklin "Dick" and Ellen Skeens Van Horn.
In addition to her parents Edna is preceded in death by her husband Everett Vanhorn and a brother Anthony Yarber.
She was a loving Homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter: Glenda Burton and husband Mark of Ashland, KY and one son: David Vanhorn also of Ashland, One granddaughter, Valarie Decker, and two great-grandchildren Austin and Allie. Mrs. Vanhorn also leaves behind three sisters: Loetta Arnold of Lexington, KY, Barbara Theil of Eugene, OR, Mary Ballew of FL and three half siblings; Margaret, Jimmy and Charles "Butch"
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday December 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, with Rev. Greg Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the See Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 27 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
