Type Obit Here Lee Elwood LeForrest 71 of Fort Gay, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday Feb. 27, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born Feb. 8, 1944 at Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Lawson and Mary Horton LeForrest. He was a retired truck driver, member of the Louisa First Baptist Church, and served in the United States Army during VietNam. Survivors include his loving wife Linda Cavins LeForrest of Fort Gay, WV, two daughters Shannon (Ronnie) Boyd of Louisa, KY and Amy (James Jude) Ellison of Fort Gay, WV; three grandchildren Rebecca Stansberry, Tessa Boyd, and Tori Ellison, a great grandson Bradlee Muncy, two sisters Sandra (Robert) Cook and Patte Brown; a nephew Jamie Cook, and two great nephews Barrett and Shawn Cook. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday March 2nd at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. David Maynard, Rev. Chuck Price, and Rev. John R. Cavins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV. Friends may call after 12:30 pm Monday and until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family ask for donations to be made to the Louisa First Baptist Church Debt Retirement or the Hospice of Huntington. Graveside military honors will be performed by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6103 and the American Legion Post 89.
