Obituary of Paul Edward Parker

Paul Edward Parker, age 82, of Louisa, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his home. Mr. Parker was born May 27, 1932 in Lawrence County KY. He is the son of the late Arnold and the late Grace (Mansfield) Parker. He was a Retired Sergeant with the US Army, serving his country for 20 years. Mr. Parker also was a R.O.T.C. instructor and a small business owner. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church and a member of the Apperson Masonic Lodge #195. Paul is survived by his wife: Mary "Lou" (Shannon) Parker , two daughters: Sherrie Crum and husband Charles of Louisa, KY and Tammy Goble and husband Mitchell also of Louisa. Surviving also is two sons: Terry Parker and wife Robin of Louisa, KY and Paul Edward Parker Jr of Louisa, KY. Survivors also include nine grandchildren: Jamie Painter, Cameron Painter and wife Mariel, Andrew Goble and wife Noel, Seth Goble and wife Ellen, Brittany Rodebaugh and husband Josh, Aiden Parker and Evan Parker. Paul also leaves behind six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 21 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
