Charles Henry Cordle, age 88, of Blaine, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Mr. Cordle was born January 10, 1927 in Blaine, KY. He is the son of the late M J, Sr. and the late Polly (Bishop) Cordle. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife; Donna Christine Martin. 2 sons; Charles H Cordle Jr and Michael Cordle. Mr. Cordle was a retired Banker, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Jake Rice Lodge 606, Eastern Star 202 ,a deacon at the Cordell Free Will Baptist Church and a US Navy WWII veteran. He is survived by one daughter: Miranda Napier and husband Willis of Fort Gay, WV and one son: Larry Cordle and wife Wanda of Hendersonville, TN; one brother M.J. Cordle, Jr. of Blaine, KY; and a Daughter In Law, Janie Cordle. 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Charles also leaves behind a host of friends and loved ones. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Cordell Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Jordan and Rev Rick Cordial officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, June 5 at the Wilson Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
