Proctor David "Buddy" Ramey 72 of Blaine, KY passed away Friday June 12, 2015 at the Three Rivers Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Buddy was born Feb. 20, 1943 at Blaine, KY the son of the late Green and Carrie Osborne Ramey. He was a retired farmer and logger. He was also a member of the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers James Ramey, Willard Ramey, and Johnny Ramey. Survivors include his loving wife Anna Cordle Ramey; a daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Millard Chaffins of Louisa; a son Daniel Ramey of Blaine, KY; two very special grandchildren Brittani and Austin Chaffins; two brothers Roy and Dolphis Ramey; and six sisters Susan Ramey, Mary Ramey, Nora Clark, Ruby Blanton, Inis Boggs, and Genean Blanton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 16th at 1:00 pm at the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church with Elders Frank Blevins, Jeff Carroll, Daris Lewis, and Don Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens . Friends may visit the family after 5:00 pm Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
