I know I have only known you two for a few years but you were as close as family for much of that time. I miss you both greatly and every time my thoughts turn to you I have to remind myself that you are gone. I have tried to think about the advice you would give me in this situation. Sonya I know you would have looked at the positive telling me to have faith and you would have so easily trusted that God was in control. I look up to your abundance of faith many times when it came out so strong in Sunday school. Otis Lynn you would have argued me just for arguing sake, in the end we would have laughed about it and forgot what was making us sad.
I want to tell you, though I am sure from your new view the two of you know this, thank you. When I first encountered you I thought God had brought me to a church but I quickly learn He brought me to people. People who were determined to put God in the center of everything. I love the church family God created in our little group and I thank you so much for being a part of it.
Secondly I thank you for Lillian. Thank you for leaving her here, she will be cared for by many. Thank you for pouring the best of both of you in her. She is wonderfully stubborn, strong, brave, she has faith that will move mountains, and a love for God that will never go way. No matter what happens in her life, you have raised her with a foundation that she will always return to- Thank you.
In all things God is Glorify and in these last few weeks this is what I have had. The knowledge that as dark as this time has been for me, your earthy end glorified God. I know that this is all you ever wanted in life. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your time here with me.

As a friend of Pam's, I watched you grow up and become a wonderful warrior for the Lord. Your time here was short, and you leave behind a lovely daughter, but I have no doubts the reunion in Heaven was oh so very grand on the day you entered! I'm sure your sweet Momma was very happy to have you in her arms again, and I am certain that Otis Lynn was waiting for you by the river. You were faithful in life...rest in the arms of Jesus now. Sending much love and many prayers for the family....
