Nora Bell Moore 82 of Louisa, KY passed away Thursday July 9, 2015 following a brief illness. Nora was born March 1, 1933 at Norris, KY the daughter of the late Edgar and Sarah Cox Thompson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Lois June Grace, four brothers and three sisters. She was a retired J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center housekeeping employee. Survivors include her husband Calvin Moore, two daughters and son-in-laws Joy and Dean Cooley and Judy and Glenn Mace all of Prestonsburg, KY, a son and daughter-in-law Bobby Lee and Jennifer Moore of Louisa; a sister Stella Burgess of Hager Hill, KY, two brothers Harvey Thompson of West Jefferson, OH and Walter Lee Thompson of Staffordsville, KY; four grandchildren Carlos Cooley, Casey Cooley, Robbie Mace, and Johnathan Mace; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday July 12th at 2:00 pm at the Spencer FWB Church with Rev. Paul Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa. Friends may visit the family after 5:00 pm Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
