Juanita Queen Blankenship 86 of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 20, 2015 at her home following a brief illness. Juanita was born December 6, 1929 at Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph Frank and Neva Hall Meek. She was a retired Beef and Dairy Farmer. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husbands Ray Queen and John T. Blankenship; two brothers Billy Joe Meek and Clarence Meek; and a sister Lillian Short. Juanita was a member of the Willard Missionary Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Rebekah's, DAR, and the Lawrence County Democrat Woman's Club. Survivors include two daughters Ruth Ann Fordham and husband Larry of Lenoir City, TN and Karla Wells and husband Gary of Louisa, KY; two grandchildren Crystal Constant and husband Levi and Reva Traugott; two great grandchildren Kendall Constant and Knox Constant; three sisters Jewell Dixon of Florida, Martha Walters of Catlettsburg, KY and Bobbie Meek of Louisa, KY; a brother Frank Meek also of Louisa, KY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 23rd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Queen Cemetery at Glenwood, KY. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday Dec. 22nd at the Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
