Arthur "Art" Lyons 73 of Charley, KY passed away Wednesday March 30, 2015 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Art was born June 15, 1942 at Louisa, KY the son of the late George and Nolda Edwards Lyons. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers Roscoe, Charlie, Oakley, and Everett Lyons, a sister Flossie Bryant, and two grandchildren James Earl Wright and Angela Wright. Art was a logger and timberman and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his loving wife June Hudnall Lyons, two daughters Rebecca Wright and husband Randall and Jennifer Dillon all of Louisa; two sons James Arthur Lyons and wife Darlene, and Dale Robert Lyons and wife Bonita also of Louisa; two sisters Marie Church of Ohio and Laura Abshire of Michigan; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 2nd at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Childers and Rev. Jimmy Bevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery at Charley, KY. Friends may visit the family on Saturday April 2nd from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
