Ishmeal Boggs, age 80, of Blaine died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at home in Blaine. Ishmeal was born March 17, 1932 in Blaine, KY. He is the son of the late Herman and the late Nola (Sparks) Boggs. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie June Moore Boggs.
He was a retired from the Lawrence County Road Department, and member of the Cains Creek FWB Church.
He is survived by one daughter: Wanda Boggs of Blaine, KY and one son: Ranvil Boggs of Louisa, KY; daughter-in-law, Judy Boggs of Louisa, KY; son-in-law, Earl Boggs of Blaine, KY;
4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 8 at Cains Creek FWB Church, Blaine, KY with Rev. Roger Jordan and Rev. Ford McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Yatesville Memorial Gardens, Louisa, KY.
Friends may call after 6:00 pm Monday at the Cains Creek FWB Church.
