Alvin Harold Scarberry 82 of Charley, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 6, 2012 following a brief illness. Harold was born April 30, 1930 in Lawrence County Ky, the son of the late Jacob Junior and Ethel Church Scarberry. He was a self employed sawmill operator, member and deacon of the Charley FWB Church serving as Sunday School Superintendent, member of the Chandlersville #858 Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star Lowmansville Chapter 497, member of the York Rite Commanderies Survivors include his loving wife Anna Katherine Scarberry; a daughter Wanda Denise Marcum and husband Michael of Circleville, Ohio; a son Melvin Harold Scarberry and wife Deborah of Corbin, KY; two grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Gladys Faye and Lucian Keeton of Louisa. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Clifford Austin on Thursday May 10th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be given at the cemetery
