Brant Turner Jr. 78 of Richardson, KY passed away Saturday August 6, 2016 at Kings Daughters Medical Center following a long illness. Brant was born March 12, 1938 at Hazard, KY the son of the late Brant Turner Sr. and Neva Millam Turner. He was a retired coal miner, a member of the Richardson Masonic Lodge, and served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Survivors include his wife Linda Davis Turner, three daughters Amanda Stevens of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie Sa of Toledo, Ohio, and Tena Crawford of Georgia; a sister Judy Smith of Ohio; three grandchildren Dru Stevens, Haylee Stevens, and Jacob Pender; and a special cupcake Rileigh Shannon. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Aug. 10th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Family Cemetery at Richardson, KY. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 pm at the funeral home and military graveside rites will be held on Wednesday by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion at the cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
