Sherman Parsley 74 of Donithon Road Louisa, KY went to be with his Lord on Monday May 21, 2012. Sherman was born Oct. 13, 1937 at Mt. Gay, WV, the son of the late William Riley and Ruby Fluty Parsley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Boone Parsley. He was a retired truck driver with the Bakers and Confection Union. Sherman attended the Full Gospel Apostolic Church. Survivors include his loving wife Esther Jackson Parsley; a son William S. Parsley Jr.; two grandchildren Caleb Andrew Parsley and Michaela Christine Parsley; four sisters Marie West, Rowena Denny, Bessie Ann "Sissie" Backus, Lena Mildred Greene; and a brother Jack Parsley. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Dallas Stephens at 1:00 pm Thursday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery Louisa, KY. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
