Rev. L. Herman Wellman of Fort Gay, WV the beloved husband of 64 years to Pauline Cecil Wellman, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2012. He was born July 1, 1929. A son of the late Clarence and Lula Wellman. He was Preceded in death by his brother Clarence Wellman Jr. He was a minister for 43 years and retired from ACF.He was an author of the book "4 Great Wars Yet to Come". He is survived by three Daughters, Elizabeth and Doug Skeens of Fort Gay, Brenda and Mark Christian of Wayne and Donna Wellman of Kenova. One Son, Richard and Kathy Wellman of Fort Gay. Six Grandchildren: Craig Skeens and Paula Stroud of Fort Gay, Bryan and Denna Black, Mathew and Ericka Black of Prichard, Chris and Christy Wellman of Kenova, Justin and Carrie Gray of Austin Texas. Ten Great-Grandchildren. One Brother, Glenn and Thelma Wellman of Fort Gay, Very Special Friends, Don and Connie Ross and a host of family and friends. The family would like to express their Thanks and Love to the Hospice house of Huntington for their kind and gentle words of comfort during their time of need. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday June 2nd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Revs. Roger Perry, Mack Cyrus, and John H. Stevens. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery, Wellman Road Fort Gay, WV.
