Dear Casey family. I am very sorry to have read of recent death of your dear loved one, Christina. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and also at Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering, including sickness & death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives.

Steve, I doubt that you know me, but my mother was a Casey, born in Phelps. She had a bunch of brothers that lived in Freeburn and Phelps. Her mom and dad Albert and Deliah Casey.

There are simply no words to express what so many of us here at home are feeling right now over the news of Chrissy's passing. Shock and heartbroken just don't do enough to describe our emotions but they are the words that are used as we have shared our favorite memories of her with one another today. She touched so many lives in her few short years on this earth. What a blessing she was to so many!
I will always remember her as she was in high school. She grew up but the uniqueness that made her who she was remained unchanged.
Along with so many others, I will be praying for all of you during this season of loss because only God can give you the comfort you need.
For those of us who had the honor of knowing her, the world grew a little dimmer with her passing.
