William B. Salyers 77 of Blaine, KY passed away Sunday April 2, 2017 at Kings Daughters Medical Center following a brief illness. Bill was born January 24, 1940 at Needmore, KY, the son of the late William R. and Lucy Sparks Salyers. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Donna B. Salyers. Bill was retired from the Laborers Union Local 83. He loved living in the country where he grew up. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed the outdoors and he also was an accomplished artist. Survivors include his loving wife Sally Jerline Salyers of Blaine; two daughters Cheryl Carpenter and husband Jeffrey of Lucasville, Ohio and Teresa Tolbert and husband Gerald of Sciotoville, Ohio; a granddaughter Clara Williams; two great grandchildren Jasmine Williams and John Williams; and a brother Tim Salyers and wife Carolyn also of Lucasville, Ohio; and a host of friends and loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time to be announced by the family. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home Louisa, KY.
