Dear Mr. and Mrs. Davis,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I had the privilege of getting to know Sid while he attended Guilford College. Sid was a great person and a good friend. He was a man of his word, and he truly lived each day to the fullest. In fact, right before he graduated from College a bunch of us were gathered in his room and I posed the question to him, "so what's next for Sid?" He looked me square in the eye and with his great big smile said, "Man! I'm going to dental school, and then I am going to open my own clinic!" True to his word, Sid did just that. So, although he left too soon, I hope you can find solace from the fact that your son truly lived his life and achieved his dream. Again my sincerest condolences to you and your family.
