Norma Maude Cook, age 88, of Quincy, KY formerly of Louisa went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center of Ashland, KY. Norma was born April 4, 1924 in Inez, KY. She is the daughter of the late Bascom and the late Effie (Hickman) Preston. She was preceded in death by her husband Olie Cook who died in 1993 and two sons Jerry and Terry Cook.
She was a homemaker and member of the Pack Bottom Church.
She is survived by five sons: Olie Robert Cook and wife Sue of Louisa, KY, James Mitchell Cook and wife Georgia of Orient, OH, Lowell Dean Cook of Louisa, KY, Eugene Cook of Quincy, KY, Richard Cook and wife Doris of Louisa, KY; one sister: Elsie Kirk of Columbus, OH; She also has ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great great granddaughter..
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Sunday, August 5 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery Louisa, KY.
Calling hours will be Saturday, August 4th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home Louisa, KY.
