Obituary of Luther Mack Campbell

Luther "Mack" Campbell 86 of Fort Gay, WV joined the love of his life Mickey as he entered their heavenly home on Jan 4, 2018 while at home. Mack was born on Feb. 20, 1931 in Glen Hayes WV the son of the late Sam and Elsie Meade Campbell. He was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Bill, Kenneth, and Teddy Lynn and sisters Mildred Kelly and Rose Pratt. He is survived by four daughters and one son: Debbie and Daniel Russell of Wayne, Brenda and Clifford Thompson of Louisa, Patty and Mike Thompson of Fort Gay, Janey and Tim Campbell of Fort Gay. Additional survivors are his precious grandchildren Rebecca and Del Crum, Brittany and JP MidKiff along with great grandchildren Hunter and Cody Crum and Abby and Ally Midkiff. He is also survived by a sister Gladys Holt of Ohio. Mack was a construction worker retiring from Turman Construction. He was a longtime member of Salt Petre Community Church and the Vinson Masonic Lodge. Mack was a Veteran serving in the United States Army. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday Jan. 6th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Revs. Del Crum, Richard Maynard, and Luther Dingess. Burial will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery at Fort Gay. Friends may call on Friday, Jan. 5th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
