Rita is one of the big highlights of my childhood and life. I know you guys will miss her so badly. Even though I haven't seen her in so many years, it is still so painful to think about her being gone. The video was so nice to look at and see how her life progressed. The Arrington family was really good to me and I spent some time with them, because I was friends with Robin, their granddaughter and niece. I can never forget the kindness Rita always showed me and I loved her fun happy attitude. She was solid as a rock in her personality and seemed unshakable. Anytime Rita was around it was fun. The best dessert I ever ate was at Charlie's and Della's. We had been working in tobacco and came in to eat supper. We had homegrown peaches and strawberries in a nice frozen slurry as a very special treat. Anytime I eat strawberries I remember picking strawberries in Della's patch with Robin. We had to sneak a few to eat as we picked. Again, I know you will miss Rita because she was the type of person that really took care of everyone.
