For his family,
You have my deepest heartfelt condolences. There are no words. Will spoke of you often, and loved you so much. Often, if he was not on call over the weekend, he would mention several times that it was almost the weekend, and that he was going home to see family and play in the pool. He was always counting the minutes until Friday on those occasions because he wanted to go to Maysville. He loved it there.
For his friends, and work family,
I miss him already, and know that there will be an empty spot at work that cannot be filled. His bubbly personality and silly laugh will be sorely missed. I am blessed to have known him, and to have been able to count him as my friend. We would often chat about silly things like World of Warcraft, or different computer builds we were working on at home when we should have been working. On our last conversation, I was grousing at him about workplace safety, and told him that I wouldn't get after him if I didn't care. He rolled his eyes at me, and acknowledged that he did understand that I was grousing because I cared about him and that I wouldn't bother if it were not so. In retrospect, I wish I had said more, because I never dreamed it was our last conversation, and never dreamed I would never have another opportunity to tell him how much he mattered. I am so proud of him for the way he was growing into his role at work. He was so eager to learn when I had anything to share.
