Obituary of Lillian Ledoshia Rowe

Lillian Ledoshia “Lil” Rowe, 85, of Louisa, KY passed away Wednesday July 25, 2018 into the arms of her Heavenly Father with her family by her side. Mrs. Rowe was born December 25, 1932 in Tadpole, KY to the late Garfield and Millie Lou Thompson Scarberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Curtis Edward Scarberry, Scott Winfield Scarberry, and infant brother Kenneth Scarberry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Orville Rowe, one son, Orville Dallas Rowe, one daughter, Brenda Banks, four sisters, Gretchen Childers, Bessie Rowe, Bonnie Sue Blackshire and Ruby Ann Price, and one brother, John Henry Scarberry. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, JR Cook, Stuart Cook, Brent Cook, Kris Rowe, Seth Rowe, Brandon Stiegmann and Tristan Rowe. She also has seven precious great grandchildren.

Lil was a member of the Cherryville Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved to play softball and also played on several bowling leagues. She began Lil’s Pizza in 1982 and became a staple to the Cherryville community. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 28th at 1:00 pm at the Cherryville Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Price and Rev. Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family anytime after 6:00 pm on Friday at the church, and after 11:00 am until time of services on Saturday also at the church.
