Obituary of Betsy Fitchpatrick

Betsy Fitchpatrick, 93, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Mrs. Fitchpatrick was born March 1, 1925 in Inez, KY to the late Harrison Muncy and Julie Damron Muncy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Fitchpatrick in 2009, one son, Harrison “Bud” Fitchpatrick, one daughter, Charolette Burke, and two grandsons, Johnny and Shawn Michael Fitchpatrick. 

She is survived by five sons, Jackie Fitchpatrick, Johnny (Belinda) Fitchpatrick, Richard (Leigh Ann) Fitchpatrick, Tommy (Carla) Fitchpatrick, James Fitchpatrick; four daughters Brettia (Rick) Hammond, Sylvia (Ralph) Fugett, Betty (Ova) Boggs, Jean (Phillip) Colm; and one sister, Laura Bowen.  She also leaves behind thirty-one grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.                                      

Mrs. Fitchpatrick was a homemaker and member of Richardson Chapel Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Harless officiating. Burial will follow in the Fitchpatrick Cemetery at Louisa. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, August 2 after 6:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.»(Do not delete this line.
