Scott Peters 35 of Fort Gay, WV passed away August 29, 2018 following a sudden illness.

Scott was born March 10, 1983 at Columbus, Ohio the son of Barbara Evans and Nathaniel Peters. He was a employee of Subway in Catlettsburg, KY.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Evans of Marengo, OH; Father Nathaniel Peters of Mt. Vernon, OH; Step Father Paul David McGinnis of Columbus, OH; Maternal Grandparents Clyde and Betty Evans of Fort Gay, WV; Paternal Grandmother Betty Bowling of Mt. Vernon, OH; sister Stephanie Ann Peters of Mt. Vernon, OH; two brothers Paul David McGinnis Jr. of Marengo, OH and Maverick Nathaniel Peters of Mt. Vernon, OH; Uncles Brian Evans and Dan (Teresa) Peters; Aunt Janice (Jim) Seymour; Nephews Kaleb Temple, Jordan Stanley, and Mason Peters; several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Erman Peters and a Uncle Jackie Peters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Sept. 4th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Webb, WV. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
