Thankful he had the time with his loved ones being by his side. Sorry for this loss of this special person in your life. I have more childhood memories that was always a good time when the McDaniels Family was gathered together. Sure miss my favorite uncle. But the wonderful memories are priceless. I feel I have known Cecil for ever, I have such a heavy heart, may you Rest In Peace, the last time I saw him was on his birthday in May. Oh what a wonderful man , I told Cecil when we saw each other how much he is loved by all, peace be with you my dear friend and brother in law.

I met Cecil many years ago. He was my friend. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers for his family. I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven. I will recognize him by his big grin and he will be sitting in his golden lawn chair listening to the most beautiful music. By this time, he will have had something to do with them singing and picking Bluegrass. I am just sure of that! His foot and fingers will be tapping and he will wave to me and say, "Hey now, come on over and sit down!" I will miss him of course, but look forward to that day. God Speed Cecil!

I just wanna say good never dies the right things to do are every time . And we're all in this together and hopefully my best wishes for the family ease someone even one person pain ..then that's what God sent me here to do .. Uncle Cecil had the kindest heart. It didn’t matter if we hadn’t seen each other for a couple of years or not—he made you feel special every time you saw him.
My earliest memory was the night I lost a tooth and Uncle Cecil was visiting and he gave me a dollar for my tooth. I only got a quarter from my mom and dad. Uncle Cecil said I deserved to be spoiled! He was always so darn sweet and thoughtful.
My last fun memory was the time I met my dad and Uncle Cecil at the flea market. We walked the flea market but after we just sat in my new car and played with the gadgets, told stories and laughed for a good 2 hours-in a car.
Every time I saw Uncle Cecil I left feeling loved! Thinking of everyone and sending my love.
