Obituary of Linda Lou Roark

Linda Lou Roark, 72, of Louisa, KY passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at home. Mrs. Roark was born August 5, 1946 in Glenhayes, West Virginia to the late Oscar "Red" and Emma Jean Frazier Branham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Roark, granddaughter, Faith Elizabeth Dean, and sister, Virginia Ann Lemaster.

 

She is survived by one son, Bobby Allen Roark and fiancé, Leslie Leigh of Marysville, Indiana; two daughters, Emma Spurlock and husband, Joseph of Louisa KY, Wanda Dean and husband, David of Fort Gay, WV; three sisters, Wanda Patton, Evelyn Sue Triplett, and Mary Patrick; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, and Erica Mullett, Skylar Paige Roark, Shawn and Jonathan Dean, Logan and Ryan Spurlock, and Braxton Edward Lewis.

 

She was a member of the Glenhayes Baptist church and devoted Mother.

 

The family would like to express special thanks to Community Hospice Care, Betty Dotson and family, Miranda Woods, Teresa Spurlock, and Randy Theresa Woods.

 

Graveside services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Branham Family Cemetery in Glenhayes, WV with Rev. Martin Wright officiating. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
