Goldie (Hall) Johnson, 97, of Louisa, KY passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Mrs. Johnson was born on June 12, 1921 to the late Cort and Ollie (Shelton) Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Johnson; a daughter, Judith Bartram; a son, Charles Glendon Johnson; one sister, Marie Borders; and three brothers, Monroe Hall, Harvey Hall, and Charles Herman Hall.  Survivors include a daughter, Colin Sparks of Louisa; a son, John Johnson of Huber Heights, Ohio; four sisters, Ruby Johnson of North Carolina, Emma Hager of Florida, Billye Combs of Paintsville, KY and Clara Hackney of Ohio. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great granchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Mrs. Johnson was a retired office manager with Community Action of Louisa. She was a member of the Meades Branch FWB Church and an active member in their Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Meades Branch FWB Church with Rev. Jim Bevins officiating. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 18th from 11:00 AM until time of services at Meades Branch FWB Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
