I miss you so much. It's been almost 5 years and I miss you just as bad now then I did when you left us. The pain I felt, is just as bad. But that is not why I am here today. Story time!
One time daddy wanted us to go get fire wood from Brenda's house, so we go in the van. Dad drives over to the wood pile and stands in the back of the van and tells me to toss him the wood. This wood was HUGE cut offs of logs. So I grab one that has a limb still connected. I break the limd and pick it up and toss it. I wasn't paying attention to him and I should have been. I toss this lb and dad is in the back of the van Bent over stacking as I and tossing it to him. I toss this log and as I let go I am looking at dad and see he is vent over and looking down, so I yell heads up. Now if you know my daddy, you know my daddy couldn't hear unless you screamed at him. So when I yell it was to late. He starts to raise up and that log hit him HARD on the top of the head. I almost knocked him out and he comes out of the back of the van. I run over and catch his arm before he hits the ground as I am running and laughing to get him. After he calmed down, he gives the best chewing out of my life. I laughed so hard I almost peed on myself. It was so funny to me then, it still is but it hurts my heart to know I hurt my daddy like that and couldn't stop laughing. I love and miss you daddy, I will until the day I die.
