Brenda S. Whisenant, 60, of Belfry, KY passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Mrs. Whisenant was born April 27, 1958 in Williamson, WV to the late Roy Lee and  Sylvia Ann Defoe Maynard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Jackie Maynard. 

She is survived by her husband - Carl Whisenant of Belfry KY; one son, Chris (Kayla) Whisenant of Louisa, KY; one brother, Jim Maynard of Williamson, WV; four sisters, Betty (Ross) Yahr of Scotts, MI, Ellen Stubbs of Mishawaka, IN, Joann Bianco of South Williamson, WV, and Teresa Jobes of GA; two grandchildren,Hanah and Logan Whisenant; one uncle George (Judy) Defoe of Fairview, WV; and one aunt Linda (Denny) Hinchman of Niles, MI.                                

She was a Retail Manager for Zip Zone Express.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastors Chris Wilson and Haskell Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, October 31 after 5:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.
